Jerry Garcia Band tribute act The Garcia Project confirmed an eight-night run on the West Coast spanning March 14 – 24. The band will recreate Jerry Garcia Band setlists from 1976 – 1978 over the course of the run, which includes two shows featuring vocalist Maria Muldaur.
Maria Muldaur, who scored a huge hit in 1974 with “Midnight At The Oasis,” was a member of the Jerry Garcia Band from Fall 1977 through 1978. The Garcia Project will be joined by Maria to recreate shows from that period at HopMonk Tavern in Sebastopol, California on March 14 and at Sweetwater Music Hall in Mill Valley, California on March 15. Next up for The Garcia Project are performances in Redwood City, California on March 16 and Nevada City, California on March 17.
The tour continues at The Good Foot in Portland, Oregon on March 21 and at W.O.W. Hall in Eugene, Oregon on March 23. Finally, The Garcia Project will conclude the tour with two nights at Williams Grange Hall in Williams, Oregon with The Psychedelic Express Light Show on March 23 and 24.
