The Marcus King Band Announces Dead & Company Afterparty In Boulder

146

The Marcus King Band has announced an official Dead & Company afterparty, set to take place on Saturday, July 6th, at Boulder, CO’s Boulder Theater. The show will begin at 11:30 p.m., following Dead & Company’s tour-closing performance at nearby Folsom Field.

In recent news, The Marcus King Band announced a pair of intimate shows at Garcia’s—the 250-capacity auxiliary venue attached to The Capitol Theatre in Port Chester, NY—on March 6th and March 8th. However, when you’re as hot as The Marcus King Band is right now, sometimes “intimate” isn’t in the cards. Due to overwhelming demand, King and company announced that the second of those two shows (3/8) has been moved to The Cap’s much larger 1,800-capacity theater, marking the first time The Cap has ever moved a scheduled Garcia’s show to their main stage. The upgraded gig will also serve as The Marcus King Band’s headlining debut at the historic theatre.

The exciting news does not stop there, as The Marcus King Band will make their debut as the musical guests on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert this Wednesday, February 13th.

Tickets for the MKB afterparty go on sale this Friday, February 15th at 10 a.m. (MST) here.
