Aqueous Welcomes Members Of Lettuce, SunSquabi & BIG Something In Phoenix: Full Set Pro-Shot Video

110

Aqueous performed a late night show on Saturday at Last Exit Live in Phoenix, Arizona in conjunction with the M3F Music Festival. The concert was billed as “Aqueous & Friends” and the quartet came through on the moniker by jamming with members of Lettuce, SunSquabi and Big Something.

The four-piece out of Buffalo kicked off the concert with the classic “Origami” and “Weight Of The Word” off their 2018 album Color Wheel. “Second Sight” came next before Adam Deitch of Lettuce replaced Rob Houk during “Skyway.” Houk returned for oldies “Timmy’s Blades” and “Strange Times.” More guests emerged for a cover of David Bowie’s “Fame” featuring SunSquabi’s Kevin Donohue on guitar and Josh Fairman on bass.

Aqueous brought their main set to a close in Phoenix with “Kitty Chaser (Explosions).” For the encore, the quartet busted out Snoop Dogg’s “Gin & Juice” for the first time since November 12, 2016 featuring BIG Something’s Nick MacDaniels on vocals and and Jesse Hensley on guitar.
