Beck, Jim James, St. Vincent and several other musicians, actors and comedians appeared on Jenny Lewis’ On The Line Online listening party. The three-hour long live event previewed Lewis’ new studio album, On The Line, which Warner Bros. Records will issue on March 22.
Lewis’ listening party featured her godfather Jerry Cohen playing vibraphone. Other participants included actors Jeff Goldblum, David Arquette, Vanessa Bayer, Natasha Leggero, Tim Heidecker and musicians Nikki Lane, Dannielle Haim and others. Beck introduced a bass jam that included James, Mac DeMarco, King Tuff, actor/musician Jason Schwartzman and Heidecker playing bass on a small rotating stage.
The event was a benefit for Downtown Women’s Center and also saw Lewis taking calls, a magician and more. Watch below:
