Big Gigantic Announces 3D Rowdytown VIII Red Rocks Run

151

Colorado’s own Big Gigantic will return to their legendary home-state venue Red Rocks Amphitheatre on September 27 and 28 for their eighth-annual Rowdytown run. The electronic duo of producer and saxophonist Dominic Lalli and drummer Jeremy Salken also confirmed support for the weekend and a reprise of the 3D technology they debuted last year.

On Friday, September 27, Big Gigantic will be joined by Two Friends, The Funk Hunters and Birocratic. The following night, Saturday, September 28, the pair will be supported by Kasbo, Flamingosis and ilo ilo. Notably, Rowdytown VIII will once again feature the band’s one-of-a-kind 3D technology, which Big Gigantic debuted last year. In a statement ahead of last year’s shows, the band noted that the technology “create[s] a unique, personal experience for every single person each night,” with the group carefully creating setlists to take fans “on a Big Gigantic audio and visual journey from start to finish.”

Pre-sale tickets with reduced service fees are currently on sale here. VIP packages are also available, with tickets including early venue access, a meet and greet with the band and special merch, including a signed poster, commemorative laminate and more. The public on-sale begins on Friday, March 22 at 10 a.m. MT. Like other Big Gigantic shows, a portion of all ticket sales will be donated to A Big Gigantic Difference Foundation’s 2019 charity project.
