Broken Social Scene Performs On ‘Live From Here’

Broken Social Scene appeared on Saturday’s episode of Chris Thile’s public radio program Live From Here. The Canadian-collective’s performance at the State Theatre in Minneapolis included a pair of new songs as well as a couple of classics.

Additional guests on Saturday’s episode were Sharon Day, Dave Hill and the Vijay Iyer Trio, with Joey Dosik sitting-in with the show band. Broken Social Scene performed “1972” from their recently issued EP Let’s Try The After – Vol 1 and fellow new tune “Can’t Find My Heart.” BSS was later joined by Thile and Madison Cunningham on “Major Label Debut” from their 2005 self-titled album and “Anthems For A Seventeen Year-Old Girl” from the 2003 LP You Forgot It In People.
