In early-February, Cass McCombs released his latest studio album Tip Of The Sphere via ANTI- Records. The singer-songwriter shared a pro-shot video of the album track “The Great Pixley Train Robbery” that was recorded at The Chapel in San Francisco on June 6, 2018.

That evening, McCombs was backed by drummer Joe Russo along with bassist Dan Horne (Circles Around The Sun, Grateful Shred) and keyboardist Frank LoCrasto. The tune from his 11-track effort recounts the real events of the 1889 train robbery that happened in the Northern California town of Pixley.
