Eric Krasno Announces 2019 Blue Note Jazz Club Residency

206

Guitarist Eric Krasno announced he will host a residency at New York City’s Blue Note Jazz Club in mid-May. The run is becoming a staple of the guitarist’s spring calendar, following up last year’s highly successful run at the legendary jazz venue.

Last spring, for his Blue Note residency Krasno revived his project Chapter 2 after a long hiatus. Once again, the Grammy-winning musician will bring together the outfit as his house band, which features keyboardist Nigel Hall, drummer Louis Cato and bassist Chris Loftlin. Similarly, the guitarist has also promised a number of nightly special guests, echoing last year’s run that saw collaborations with Questlove, Cory Henry, Robert Randolph and many others.

The upcoming residency is scheduled from May 16 through 19, with tickets for early shows at 8:30 p.m. and later performances at 10 p.m. available. Advanced table seating is offered on the Blue Note’s website, while bar seating will be available each night at a first-come-first-serve basis.
