Hear Here Represents released pro-shot video of Lotus performing “Blender.” The footage was captured during the band’s soundcheck last year ahead of a performance at Milwaukee’s Turner Hall Ballroom on February 10, 2018.
“Blender,” was released as a bonus track off the group’s self-titled fourth studio album. The electronic-infused jam sports a funky bassline and crisp guitar work paired with a percussive and repetitive vocal sample, falling in line with the distinct direction change that Lotus pushed in 2011. Unlike older tracks, which frequently tend to have a more laidback and patient vibe, “Blender” draws on this lineage while updating it with more electronic influences and an upbeat tone.
