Rodrigo y Gabriela was the musical guest on Tuesday’s episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live. The duo performed “Mettavolution,” the title track from their upcoming ATO Records LP, which will be released on April 26.
For their appearance on the late-night talk show, Rod y Gab were joined by an interpretive dance troupe along with a number of backup singers who emerged from the audience to help sing the tune’s choral ending. The seven-track effort, the pair’s first since 2014, was produced by Dave Sardy and includes a cover of Pink Floyd’s “Echoes.”
