Tank and the Bangas unveiled “Nice Things,” the latest single from the group’s forthcoming studio album. The New Orleans outfit’s Green Ballon LP is due on May 3 via Verve Forecast.
“Green Balloon is a sister to Think Tank,” said lead singer Tarriona “Tank” Ball in comparing Tank & The Bangas’ 2013 debut album to their new LP. “Think Tank was 12, and Green Balloon is 16 and having sex. She’s out there.” The band recruited producers Jack Splash, Mark Batson, Zaytoven, Louie Lastic and Robert Glasper to help create Green Balloon.
