Colorado’s own seven-piece funk outfit The Motet has announced their first weed strain, “StarMatter 303”, in collaboration with local company and dispensary The Clinic.
On April 1st, The Motet will kick off their new marijuana mission by launching a Pax Era pod into all of The Clinic’s locations and select other dispensaries. A flower release date is yet to be announced.
The Motet and The Clinic will celebrate their new collaboration with a special StarMatter 303 launch party at Frisco, CO’s 10 Mile Music Hall on April 20th.
In January, following months of anticipation, The Motet officially released their latest studio album, Death or Devotion. The new record marks the band’s first release since 2016’s Totem. The Denver, CO-based seven-piece—comprised of Dave Watts (drums), Joey Porter (keys), Garrett Sayers (bass), Ryan Jalbert (guitar), Lyle Divinsky (vocals), Drew Sayers (sax) and Parris Fleming (trumpet)—previewed Death or Devotion for their hometown fans with a free surprise album release show at Cervantes‘.
