Whitney will return to the road for their first U.S. tour in over two years this fall. The Chicago-based band featuring vocalist/drummer Julien Ehrlich and guitarist Max Kakacek have detailed an 11-date cross-country run. In addition, the pair confirmed they are working on the follow-up to 2016’s Light Upon The Lake and will release new music later this year.
Whitney will kick off their first major run of American dates since 2017 on September 13 at the Mohawk in Austin. A four-pack of East Coast shows follows with nights in Washington D.C., Philadelphia, Boston and New York City. The melodic folk-rock act then makes their way west with stops in Minneapolis, Milwaukee, Seattle, Portland and San Francisco before wrapping things up at The Wiltern in Los Angeles on November 2. Up first for Whitney is an appearance at the Pitchfork Music Festival in Chicago this July.
