Attention all wine lovers: At the Quinta da Pacheca estate in Douro, Portugal, you can literally sleep inside of a wine barrel on a 140-acre vineyard.
The wine barrels are replicas made of pine, and include all of the expected amenities normal hotel rooms have. The 270-square foot barrels have a bathroom with a walk-in shower, wardrobe, and a large round bed with a skylight window. Plus, air conditioning and WiFi, of course.
There are 10 barrels on the property, all of which are designed by owners Paulo Pereira and Maria do Céu Gonçalves.
