Beyoncé & Netflix Team Up For 2018 Coachella Concert Film ‘Homecoming’

111

Beyoncé and Netflix are teaming up for a forthcoming concert film, Homecoming, focusing on Beyoncé’s classic 2018 Coachella set. Homecoming will premiere on Netflix on Wednesday, April 17th, in between Coachella 2019‘s first and second weekends.

On Sunday, Netflix teased the forthcoming concert film via their Twitter. The image pictured below features a collegiate Greek theme, a nod to Beyoncé’s 2018 performance at the Southern California festival, which featured members of her Beta Delta Kappa sorority and a full marching band clad in yellow.

According to a prior U.S. Weekly report, the film will feature Beyoncé’s performance, which live-streamed, as well as previously unreleased footage. Beyond their Twitter tease, Netflix has not provided any further details on the film.

In 2018, Beyoncé and Jay Z made their way around Europe and North America when they embarked on their On The Run II tour. Beyoncé and Jay Z’s On The Run II tour took place four years after the husband-and-wife duo’s first On The Run tour, which brought them to 20 stadiums in North America back in 2014.

Beyoncé currently has no scheduled tour dates, so hopefully this new live footage will satisfy fans until Queen B announces she’ll be hitting the road again. Keep an eye on Beyoncé’s website for more information regarding her new Homecoming concert film.
