Brandi Carlile and Dave Grohl teamed up to busk outside of Pike Market in Seattle on Saturday afternoon. The Foo Fighters‘ frontman and Carlile were joined by Brandi’s longtime band mates Tim and Phil Hanseroth to form an acoustic quartet for the brief performance.
Grohl visited Carlile’s house for “dinner and ATVs” on Friday night as per Brandi’s Instagram account, which also gave local fans a bit of advance notice of the busking session. The Seattle Times report indicate the quartet played “for about 10 – 15 minutes.” Carlile shared video of the four-piece performing the Beatles’ “Let It Be” and Foo Fighters’ “Times Like These.” Attendees noticed professional cameras documenting the scene and Dave’s mom Virginia watching from the crowd. The Grohls are reportedly working on a new TV documentary series titled From Cradle To Stage.
