Kid Cudi was in the giving mood this past weekend in Southern California, for his second of two weekends performing at Coachella. The rapper, whose real name is Scott Mescudi, purchased $10,000 worth of food from Popeyes this past Friday and teamed up with Postmates send the food over to the Coachella Valley Rescue Mission, a homeless shelter in Indio, California located nearby where Coachella takes place.
The popular hip-hop artist utilized the convenience of Postmates, a company that provides on-demand delivery and pickup, to help send the reported mix of Popeyes chicken, biscuits, mashed potatoes, and fries to the Mission nearby. Members of the Mission were thrilled to see a van filled with boxes of food from the popular fast food chain. Say what you will about fast food, but seeing a car filled with boxes of delicious chicken pull up when you’re hungry and down on your luck (and during the weekend of 4/20, no less) is a sight to behold. You can watch footage of the food being delivered below.

The seven-track project featured guest contributions from Yasiin Bey, Ty Dolla $ign, and Pusha T, just to name a few.
