Lee Fields & The Expressions recorded a live session for WFUV during a members-only show at the Rockwood Music Hall on Manhattan’s Lower East Side. The New York City public radio station has shared pro-shot video of a pair of songs from the performance that took place back on February 19.
The soul singer and his longtime backing band delivered takes on “You’re What’s Needed In My Life” and the title track from their forthcoming studio album It Rains Love, which will be released on April 5 via Big Crown Records.
