The 5th annual Herbie Hancock Tribute night is scheduled to take place on Friday, April 12 at Nietzsche’s in Buffalo, NY.
Herbie is a man of many talents: pianist, keyboardist, bandleader, composer, and actor.
His 79th birthday will be celebrated by The Truth Travelers consisting of Donny Frauenhofer on the keys, Ellen Pieroni on sax and flute, Brian Calisto and Adam Bronstein on the guitar, Sam Pavlovich on bass, Jon Fohl takes the drums, and last but not least, Ryan Campbell on aux percussion.
Additionally, The Jon Lehning Band will be performing for the crowd. This group is made up of Jon Lehning on the saxophones, Brandon Choi on the trumpet, Max Greenberg playing the piano, Adam Bronstein Music on the guitar, #AnthonyHenry takes bass, and Ryan Cavan will be playing the drums.
Doors for this event open at 9 p.m., followed by a 10 p.m. show time.
The cover for the evening is $5, and you must be 21 or older unless accompanied by a parent or guardian.
