Phil Lesh has announced a pair of free family-friendly afternoon event at the Beach Park at his Terrapin Crossroads venue in San Rafael, California for this weekend. The bassist will first host “Songs To Phil The Air,” today, Saturday, April 6, while tomorrow, April 7, he will take part in a special “Stories & Songs” set.
“Songs To Phil The Air” will see Lesh joined by his son Grahame Lesh along with drummer Alex Koford and guitarist Mike Pascale. “Songs & Stories” will feature Phil reading “some of his favorite kids books, before playing a set of children’s songs” with Koford, Pascale and keyboardist Scott Guberman. Both shows will begin at 3 p.m. and are free to the public.
