Yonder Mountain String Band will embark on a summer tour this May and June. The jamgrass quintet will mix festival appearances and headlining performances.
The group kicks off the tour on May 3 at Charlotte’s First Ward Park. YMSB then makes appearances at the Lilac Festival in Rochester on May 10, DelFest in Maryland on May 23 and 24 and at the Summer Camp Music Festival in Chillicothe, Illinois on May 26. A performance at Wave in Wichita, Kansas on May 29 will be followed by a set at the Backwoods Camping & Music Festival in Ozark, Arkansas on May 30 and a headlining show at Huntsville, Alabama’s Sidetracks Music Hall on May 31.
June starts with a set at the Cold Mountain Music Festival in Canton, North Carolina on the 1st. Next up are headlining shows in Isle Of Palms, South Carolina; Annapolis, Maryland; Newport News, Virginia; Rocky Mount, Virginia; Wilmington, North Carolina and Greenville, North Carolina. The tour is currently scheduled to conclude with a Telluride Bluegrass Festival after dark show on June 21 and a performance at the festival itself on June 22.
