Bremont is paying tribute to one of auto racing’s most renowned rides with the Jaguar D-Type watch.
Named after the vintage Jag that won three consecutive Le Mans championships in the mid-1950s, the handsome 43mm bauble boasts a blue-dialed chronograph, brushed nickel sub-dials and a vintage “Jaguar” logo, all housed in the British watchmaker’s three-piece “Trip-Tick” satin case.
A giant saphire caseback reveals the intricate BE-50E movement, as well as a steering-wheel inspired rotor.
The final nods to the luxury British automaker can be seen on the blue Jaguar leather strap and the crown, which features an etching of the original Dunlop tire tread and another vintage Jaguar logo.
To top it all off, each example comes in a leather package signed by Ian Callum, Jaguar’s Director of Design.
Considering that production of the exclusive wristwatch is limited to just 300 pieces, the Bremont Jaguar-D-Type is almost as rare as the vintage race car that inspired it.
