Dave Matthews Band Fits Tour Debuts Into Missouri Concert

130

Wednesday night’s Dave Matthews Band concert at Hollywood Casino Amphitheatre in Maryland Heights, Missouri featured four tour debuts. “Say Goodbye,” “Stay Or Leave,” “Grace Is Gone” and “Two Step” all saw action for the first time this summer last night.

DMB kicked off the show with “That Girl Is You” from 2018’s Come Tomorrow album. Then, staple “#41” was followed by the tour debut of “Say Goodbye.” A run of “Do You Remember,” “Raven,” “Satellite,” “Don’t Drink The Water” and “Samurai Cop (Oh Joy Begin)” came ahead of the tour’s first “Stay Or Leave.” Next up was “The Stone” and a cover of Peter Gabriel’s “Sledgehammer.”

Later in the set, the septet dusted off “Grace Is Gone,” which was last played on September 1, 2018. “What Would You Say” followed and ended the main set for the first time since August 8, 2004. For the encore, DMB dusted off “Two Step” for its initial 2019 play and said farewell with “Ants Marching.”
