Fruit Bats performed an installment of La Blogothèque’s Take Away Show series. The session recorded last year in Berlin featured a “one to one” rendition of “Baby Bluebird.”
Fruit Bats (Eric D. Johnson) will embark on a summer tour in support of the new album Gold Past Life, on the same day it comes out on Merge Records on June 21. Fruit Bats’ Gold Past Life Tour begins in Santa Barbara and wraps August 10 in Indianapolis. Directed by Christophe “Chryde” Abric and filmed in Berlin, the performance of “Baby Bluebird” takes place in a bleak basement setting for a single audience member.
