Famed photographer Jay Blakesberg will release a new book entitled Jerry Garcia – Secret Space Of Dreams this October via Rock Out Books. Blakesberg’s latest tome focuses solely on Grateful Dead frontman Jerry Garcia.
The book contains 175 color and black and white photographs of Garcia on and offstage. Included within are shots of Jerry performing with the Grateful Dead, guest musicians, friends and other collaborators. Photos span from 1978 – 1995. Jerry Garcia – Secret Space Of Dreams features a foreword written by Dead & Company guitarist John Mayer and an afterword penned by Widespread Panic bassist Dave Schools. In addition, the 192-page hard cover coffee book includes essays by Trixie Garcia and David Gans as well as a number of quotes from notable musicians and friends about Garcia.
