125

On June 18, 1994 Phish brought their historic summer tour to the UIC Pavilion in Chicago for a concert that ranks among the best of a year that would see them graduate to arenas and amphitheaters. Previously unseen video from the memorable night in the Windy City has surfaced nearly 25 years to the day after the show with the promise of more on the way.

The fan-shot footage shared so far starts with the “Sample In A Jar” that ended Phish’s first of two sets at their UIC Pavilion debut. Next, the video includes a portion of the cover of Frank Zappa’s “Peaches En Regalia” that kicked off the second set. The video was filmed by Jeff S. and was synched with high-quality audio and posted on YouTube by David Lightman5. A note accompanying the clip notes the taper did capture the rest of the concert, including the truly epic “David Bowie” containing a “Mind Left Body Jam.”
