Steel Pulse Shares ‘Cry Cry Blood’ Video

Steel Pulse shared the video for their single, “Cry Cry Blood,” from their upcoming album Mass Manipulation. The legendary reggae band’s first album of new original music in 15 years is due out May 17 via Rootfire Cooperative/Wiseman Doctrine.

“Cry Cry Blood” and its Scot Jay-directed visual are based on events that took place at the self-sustained Rastafarian commune Pinnacle, founded by “The First Rasta” Leonard P. Howell in St. Catherine, Jamaica in 1940. The commune was subsequently raided and desecrated, with its inhabitants thrown into ghettos on the island. Check out the powerful video below:
