At the start of April, The Infamous Stringdusters followed up their Grammy-winning Laws Of Gravity with a new album, Rise Sun. Now, the progressive bluegrass band has shared a visually stunning music video for the record’s title track, “Rise Sun.”
The music video was directed by Laura Goldhamer, with cinematography from Michelle Christiance and production by Spiral Bound Studios. To accompany the triumphant song, the team crafted a gorgeous collection of visuals from across Colorado, including mountains, valleys, plains, train tracks, snow-laced labyrinths and more. In addition to cinematic views from across the Rocky Mountain region, the clip also sports stop-motion animation of “yarn bombing” — the act of wrapping items in yarn or decorating them with knitted materials — violins and trees.
