Tool confirmed their new album will be released on August 30. The band’s last album was 10,000 Days, which came out in 2006.
During Tool’s concert in Birmingham, Alabama last night, “August 30th” was flashed on large video screens. The show included the performance of “Descending” and “Invincible,” two recently debuted new songs. Frontman Maynard James Keenan told the audience to take photos of the video screens while the date was shown.
