Tyler Childers Announces New Album ‘Country Squire’ & Shares Single

Tyler Childers’ new album Country Squire will be released August 2 through Hickman Holler Records/RCA Records. The singer-songwriter announced fall tour dates in support of the record that features the lead single “House Fire.”

Sturgill Simpson and David Ferguson co-produced Country Squire, which was recorded in Nashville at The Butcher Shoppe with Stuart Duncan (fiddle, mandolin, banjo), Miles Miller (drums, background vocals), Russ Pahl (acoustic guitar, electric guitar, pedal steel, Jaw harp, baritone) and others. The nine songs on the follow-up to 2017’s Purgatory were written by Childers.

“I hope that people in the area that I grew up in find something they can relate to,” Childers stated. “I hope that I’m doing my people justice and I hope that maybe someone from somewhere else can get a glimpse of the life of a Kentucky boy.”

Tickets to Childers fall tour concerts go on sale May 23 at 10 a.m. local venue time. Watch the “House Fire” video below:
