Robert Randolph And The Family Band have debuted their brand new music video for “Baptise Me”, one of the featured songs from the band’s forthcoming studio album, Brighter Days.
The arrival of “Baptise Me” on Friday follows the previously shared spiritual video for “Have Mercy” and takes viewers on a ride through the streets of Nashville, TN as the lively gospel-driven tune plays throughout. The band once again teamed up with director J.T. Ibanez for the new video, which also features shots of the band performing the tune on stage.

“We sat down to write and started talking about the blues, my roots of growing up in Church, and all the pressures of trying to be a good man,” Randolph said in a statement about his band’s latest single. “Two hours later we had a groovy little tune called ‘Baptist Me’. We hope everyone feels inspired to know there’s always room for change and growth on the inside.”
The acclaimed pedal steel virtuoso and his band recruited Dave Cobb (Chris Stapleton, Brandi Carlile) to produce Brighter Days, which is scheduled to arrive on Friday, May 31st via Provogue Records.
“Dave Cobb is just a guy who likes to record good music and good songs,” Randolph also added about working with the veteran country producer. “He wanted to do something that was fun but it also gives you a gospel feeling. He knows the history of our band, coming from church and giving that fun church feeling to people.”
The 10-track album will be the band’s first studio effort since 2017’s Got Soul, which peaked at No. 2 on Billboard‘s “Blues Chart” in the U.S. upon its release in February of that year.
