Marco Benevento will hit the road with his band this fall in support of his forthcoming studio album, Let It Slide.
The pianist and his band comprised of bassist Karina Rykman and drummer Andy Borger will return to the road for a month-long fall trek beginning on October 10th in Buffalo, NY. The start of the tour will come shortly following the release of Benevento’s new 13-track album, due out on September 20th via Royal Potato Family.

The tour will see Benevento and company make stops at venues along the eastern U.S. with support from Mikaela Davis and The Mattson 2 on select dates. Following an opening night on October 10th, the fall run will continue with stops at The Haunt in Ithaca, NY (10/11); The Colony in Woodstock, NY (10/13); Higher Ground in Burlington, VT (10/19); and the Music Hall of Williamsburg in Brooklyn, NY (10/24), to name a few. The tour will wrap with a show at Underground Arts in Philadelphia, PA on October 25th.
Benevento has already shared the lead single from his forthcoming release with the album’s title track now available on streaming services. The pianist teamed up with Leon Michels (Dr. John, Dan Auerbach) to help produce the material on the album, which was recorded at Diamond Mine Studios in Queens, NY in addition to Benevento’s Fred Short Studio.
“I’d never put my music so completely in someone else’s hands before,” Benevento said of his latest solo effort alongside Michels. “I’d been hesitant to work with outside producers in the past, but the experience of making this record ended up being so freeing and exciting. I loved every single minute of it.”

Tickets for the fall tour are on sale now at Benevento’s website. Prior to the fall run, Marco and his band will perform at select concerts towards the latter part of summer with scheduled appearances at Levitate Festival, Night Lights Festival, and Adirondack Independence Music Festival to name a few.
