Phish To Stream Mohegan Sun Shows On SiriusXM Phish Radio

201

Phish fans who don’t make it into the band’s two upcoming shows at Mohegan Sun in Uncasville, CT on Tuesday and Wednesday this week will be able to tune in to and listen to the live audio, as both performances will be streamed on the band’s  SiriusXM channel (Channel 29). The subscription-based satellite radio company permanently relaunched Phish Radio just in time for the band’s multiple performances at Bonnaroo last month.

Both shows are currently sold out, and act as the last scheduled performances as part of the band’s ongoing summer tour. The two shows are scheduled to begin at 7:30 p.m. EST, although the band will likely take the stage closer to 8 p.m. or shortly thereafter. According to the announcement via the channel’s social media pages, the live audio broadcast will start earlier in the afternoon at 4 p.m. on both days.

The band just completed a two-show run at Boston’s Fenway Park over the Independence Day weekend with shows at the famous ballpark on Friday and Saturday. The latter show was framed around one long set rather than the band’s traditional two, due to a late start caused by the hard rain which fell on the Boston area throughout the day and into the early evening leading up to showtime.

In addition to live show streams, Phish Radio also features regular programming dedicated to the extended “Jam On” community. New SiriusXM subscribers can join here.
