Comedic rock duo Tenacious D brought their one-of-a-kind performance with new music to Colorado’s Red Rocks Amphitheatre alongside the Colorado Symphony late last week for one of the latest stops on the band’s 2019 summer tour in support of their latest studio album, Post-Apocalypto.
The performance on Thursday saw the band and the orchestra deliver two sets worth of music with a touch of Tenacious D’s trademark silliness for their fans in the Denver, CO area. Songs included in the 23-song set at the gorgeous outdoor venue included live renditions of “Woman Time”, “Rize of the Fenix”, “Sax-a-Boom”, “Kickapoo”, and “Fuck Her Gently”, to name a few.
Tenacious D continues their summer tour with the next performance scheduled at the Palace Theatre in Saint Paul, MN on Tuesday, July 30th. Head to the band’s website for tickets and upcoming concert info.
