Nigerian musician Femi Kuti joined Coldplay during a string of recent performances in Los Angles. Kuti and members of his Afrobeat band The Postive Force accompanied the British pop rock group on their 2019 collaboration “Arabesque” and Kuti’s “Na Their Way Be That.”
The first collaboration took place last Friday at the grand opening of KROQ’s HD Radio Sound Space. The two acts linked up again on Saturday at The Forum as part of the iHeartRadio ALTer EGO 2020 concert. Coldplay and Kuti & Co. also performed together last night (Monday, January 20) at the Hollywood Palladium where Coldplay will perform again tonight.
