The Mother Hips will once again headline the lineup for Hipnic XII. The 12th annual music festival will be held at Fernwood Campground in Big Sur, California May 15 – 17.
Chuck Prophet & The Mission Express, Ramblin’ Jack Elliott, Hiss Golden Messenger, The Tyde and GospelbeacH are also in for Hipnic 2020. Additional perfomers include Six Organs of Admittance, Willie Watson, Pat Sansone of Wilco, Reed Mathis‘ , Kacy & Clayton and Brigid Dawson.
“HIPNIC, being our own creation, is of course my favorite event of the year. It has taken on the feeling of a grand rendezvous more so than a music festival. This one is a red letter day, being the tenth anniversary.,” explained Mother Hips guitarist Tim Bluhm. “HIPNIC has aged and matured into a world class weekend on the glorious and rugged coast of California. Ten years in it has grown into a fabled (uniquely Northern California) institution. Once a year 350 music lovers gather to rejoice in song, nature and redwood harmony.
