Marcus King shared video of he and Dan Auerbach performing “Beautiful Stranger” from King’s upcoming debut solo album El Dorado at Auerbach’s Easy Eye Sound in Nashville. The Black Keys frontman produced and co-wrote songs with King on the LP, which arrives on January 17 via Fantasy Records.
Marcus introduces “Beautiful Stranger” by talking about legendary Nashville songwriter Paul Overstreet, who co-wrote the tune with King and Auerbach.
“This is really a good drinkin’ song and a good love song,” King says. “And the best person to write with for those two topics would be Paul Overstreet, right?” Auerbach responds with a nod of approval.
