This Saturday, February 1, Railroad Earth will enlist Peter Rowan for an Old & In The Way tribute as part of their show at The Mission Ballroom in Denver. A free live stream of the concert, including an opening set from Horseshoes and Hand Grenades.
RRE teamed up with nugs.tv to provide the free webcast of Saturday’s show. Peter Rowan was a member of the renowned bluegrass act Old & The Way, which was formed in 1973 and put out an eponymous debut album in 1975. Rowan teamed with RRE in November 2013 for full re-creations of the 1975 Old & In The Way album during the band’s third annual Horn O’ Plenty festival in Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania. Old & In The Way also featured Jerry Garcia, Vassar Clements, David Grisman and John Kahn. Watch the free live stream below starting at 8 p.m. MT on Saturday night:
