Roger Waters Announces North American Tour 2020

Pink Floyd co-founder Roger Waters will embark on an extensive 2020 North American tour. Dubbed “This Is Not A Drill,” the run will see Waters perform for the first time “in the round.”

Roger Waters kicks off the jaunt at the PPG Paint Arena in Pittsburgh on July 8. From there, Waters brings his band to Philadelphia, Detroit, Toronto, Quebec City, Montreal, Albany, Boston and Washington D.C. over the remainder of July. The legendary artist plays Cincinnati’s US Bank Arena on August 1 and returns to Madison Square Garden in New York City on August 4 before gigs in Raleigh, Orlando, Miami, Nashville, Atlanta, Milwaukee, Minneapolis, Chicago and Kansas City to close out August. September will feature tour stops in Denver, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Vancouver, Edmonton, Tacoma, Portland, Sacramento, San Franciso and Salt Lake City. Waters is currently scheduled to end the tour at the American Airlines Center in Dallas on October 3.

Waters revealed the news of the tour in an interview with Rolling Stone last fall. “It’ll be a new show. It will be no-holds-barred,” Roger said. “My work is to think, ‘Well, how can I make rock & roll more interesting or theatrical or exciting or visual or musical or whatever?’ That’s what I’ve spent the last 50 years doing, expressing myself.” Tickets go on sale next Friday, January 31.
