Episode 54 starts with a special “The Rundown” that contains a recap of Jam Cruise 18 recorded by four members of Team JamBase aboard the MSC Divina just hours before the ship returned to Miami.
moe. played two sets on Jam Cruise 18 and Garvey spoke with JamBase’s Scott Bernstein about how the band puts its setlists together. Chuck used the group’s theater set as an example of how the quintet typically decides what to play. The guitarist also discussed moe.’s forthcoming studio album and working new tunes into setlists. Additional topics covered were audibles, moe.’s nightly setlist meetings, the ever-changing length of the band’s songs and more.
