Wynonna & The Big Noise added Bob Weir and Cass McCombs & Friends to the bill for a concert at The Fillmore in San Francisco on February 6. The show has been promoted as “Wynonna & The Big Noise featuring special collaborative performances with Bob Weir + Cass McCombs & Friends.”
McCombs and Wynonna Judd recently formed a duo named The Frothy Pit and covered the Grateful Dead’s “Ramble On Rose” during a show at Nashville’s Mercy Lounge on September 12. “Judd had a great deal to say about her appreciation for the Dead’s Bob Weir,” noted That Nashville Sound’s report on the concert.
Wynonna and Bob Weir are expected to soon release a duet as per reporter Joshua Claussen. Tickets for the concert are on sale now via Ticketmaster.
