Zac Brown Band announced 2020 dates for their Roar With The Lions Tour. The tour — which will see support from Gregory Alan Isakov and St. Paul and The Broken Bones on select dates — kicks off with a two-night run in Gilford, New Hampshire May 24 and 25 and will see the band performing throughout North America before wrapping up on October 18 in Vancouver.
Zac Brown explained the inspiration behind the tour moniker in a statement:
Our summer tour is inspired by the folklore surrounding the figure of the lion. I am a Leo, and all of the guys in the band are lions. They exemplify strength, courage, intelligence, and loyalty, and work in tandem to defend their territory and one another. The crowd is our pride – rooted in togetherness and fiercely loyal. They always show up for each other, no matter what, just like our fans always show up for us. We can’t wait to hear you roar with us!
After New Hampshire, the Roar With The Lions Tour will hit Boston and Hartford, Connecticut before heading south for engagements in Virginia Beach, Virginia and Charlotte. The tour then jumps back north including concerts in Toronto; Saratoga Springs, New York; Pittsburgh; Camden, New Jersey; Hershey, Pennsylvania and New York City among others. The tour then makes its way west via Atlanta and Chicago ahead of shows in Dallas, Denver, Portland and Tacoma, Washington before the scheduled tour closer in Vancouver on October 18.
