The California Honeydrops, Drew Emmitt and Lindsay Lou are among the acts on the Campout For The Cause 2020 lineup. Organized by the team behind WinterWonderGrass, Campout For The Cause will be held at The Meadows in Buena Vista, Colorado May 29 – 31.
In addition to three performances from The Honeydrops and sets from Emmitt and Lou, the event will feature Daniel Rodriguez, Rapidgrass, Grant Farm, Tierro Band, Mama Magnolia and others such as We Dream Dawn, WinterWonderWomen, Sea Stars, Pickin’ On The Dead and Wood Belly. “It’s hard to believe that this is the 12th annual gathering of what ultimately inspired WinterWonderGrass,” explained festival founder, Scotty Stoughton. “Combining the elements essential in nurturing and reigniting our spirits is core to Campout—the river, family, open spaces, towering peaks, sweet music, yoga, meditation, conversation and generally enjoying the freedom of the huge meadows. It’s never been about who is playing, it’s more about knowing you’ll see your friends again with time to slowly and simply reconnect.”
Yogis will be announced soon. Tickets go on sale Tuesday, March 3 at 10 a.m. MT via the festival’s website. Proceeds go towards the annual cause, Emmy’s Friends, “which was established in 2017 as a way to designate funds to Emery Welle—a 2-year-old from Red Cliff, CO who was diagnosed at 5 months old with a rare childhood cancer called embryonal rhabdomyosarcoma.”
