The String Cheese Incident keyboardist Kyle Hollingsworth‘s Kyle Hollingsworth Band fit a cover of Rush’s “YYZ” within their set at The Fillmore Auditorium in Denver on December 30. Hollingsworth shared pro-shot video of the jam that led into “YYZ” and the cover itself on his official YouTube channel.
On December 30, the Kyle Hollingsworth Band opened for Umphrey’s McGee in Denver. The quartet worked “YYZ” teases in an improvisational section and then performed all of the song from Rush’s Moving Pictures LP just weeks before the legendary Canadian power trio’s drummer Neil Peart’s tragic death.
