Yola was the musical guest on Monday’s episode of The Late Late Show With James Corden. The singer-songwriter performed “I Don’t Wanna Lie” from her 2019 debut album, Walk Through Fire.
Variety reported recently that Yola will portray Sister Rosetta Tharpe in Baz Luhrmann’s forthcoming Elvis Presley biopic, Elvis, which will feature Austin Butler as Presley and Tom Hanks in the role of Colonel Tom Parker. Yola also has an extensive schedule of upcoming tour dates, including appearances supporting Chris Stapleton and The Black Keys.
