AEG & Live Nation Postpone Shows To Help Reduce Spread of Coronavirus

In an effort to reduce the spread of coronavirus, AEG and Live Nation both announced today that they will be asking their touring shows to prepare to return home until for the remainder of March. All staff members have been instructed to work remotely from home, hoping by April to once again convene to organize what appears to be an exceptional summer of shows worldwide.

This ban effects artists such as Billie EilishJason AldeanZac Brown BandCherKissPost MaloneToolLynyrd SkynyrdChris Stapleton, and Celine Dion.

This, along with New York Sate’s ban on gatherings of more than 500 people, will have long term implications not only on the talent playing, but the venues, sound engineers, employees, and vendors that partner to bring these shows to audiences.

For a more detailed and up to date list of cancellations and postponements, Billboard is compiling a list daily of new announcements.
