Ben Folds announced a livestream series dubbed Apartment Requests. The renowned pianist and singer-songwriter — who is currently quarantined in Sydney, Australia — will kick off the weekly series on Saturday, March 28 at 6 p.m. ET.
The series will air via Ben’s Patreon page. Viewers do not need to be subscribers to watch the performance. Folds took to social media to announce Apartment Requests. Read a portion of his statement below:
Request to your hearts desire during the live chat, and understand that there’s no science to it. When I notice one I can play, I’ll just launch into it!
Very informal, although I’m still in Sydney where I was on tour with orchestras..meaning I mostly have suits. Haha. I may damn well wear one of those to save my day clothes!
