Dixie Chicks Announce 1st New Album Since 2006 ‘Gaslighter’ & Share Single

Dixie Chicks will release a new album entitled Gaslighter on May 1 through Columbia Records. The trio shared the title track lead single off their first album of new material in 14 years.

Natalie Maines, Emily Strayer and Martie Maguire’s last album was the 2006 Dixie Chicks LP, Taking The Long Way. Featuring 12 new tracks, the trio’s long-awaited follow-up album was produced by Jack Antonoff.

“This was the first song we wrote with Jack Antonoff,” the trio said of the title track, “and we knew right away this would be the sound of the album.”

Dixie Chicks, who released a live album in 2017, indicated on their official website that their first tour since 2016 will soon be announced. Watch the Seanne Farmer-directed video for “Gaslighter” below:
