Kyle Hollingsworth shared pro-shot video of his original song “Tufnel’s Retreat.” The video comes from Kyle Hollingsworth Band’s opening set for Umphrey’s McGee on December 30, 2019 at The Fillmore in Denver.
The String Cheese Incident keyboardist had premiered the prog-rock epic “Tufnel’s Retreat” — a nod to Christopher Guest’s Spinal Tap character, Nigel Tufnel — via Relix a few days before the live performance at The Fillmore. The tune later appeared on Kyle’s aptly named 2020 EP, 2020, which arrived in February. Check out a live rendition of “Tufnel’s Retreat” below:
