Moon Hooch Performs Live For ‘Paste’

Moon Hooch recently stopped by Paste Studio in the band’s native New York City. The sax and drums dance group performed songs from their last three albums as well as an unreleased track.

Moon Hooch — consisting of horn players Wenzl McGowen and Michael Wilbur as well as touring drummer Ethan Snyder — delivered all four songs continuously in a medley type mashup beginning with “Nonphysical” from the trio’s latest LP, 2020’s Life On Other Planets. The band then kept it moving with the unreleased song “Keep It Moving” ahead of “Something Else” from the 2016 album Red Sky. Moon Hooch closed out the marathon session with “Milk & Waffles” from their 2014 record This Is Cave Music. Check out the entire performance below:
